Today, 4th Grade celebrated good behavior with a PBIS activity: STEAM with Sally! Students who had positive behavior for the first nine weeks were invited to participate. Sally Bluck with OSU Extension Office visited the students and led them in an activity where the students got to build robotic bees and create ways for the bees to move around the farms and pollinate the crops. A BIG THANK YOU to Sally Bluck for brining such a cool activity to our students and a BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Jillian Bluck for making arrangements to bring the 4th graders this opportunity! We appreciate it very much!

Hey everyone! Hope you had a blast at Adena's JR High Halloween Dance and haunted hallway today! The FCCLA students and Advisor, Ms. Hampton, did an amazing job in making the event a frightfully fun one. I hope you all enjoyed the hauntingly good music, wickedly delicious treats, and bone-chilling scares in the haunted hallway. It was surely the scariest night of the year!

There's an exciting buzz in Mr. Anderson's science class these days, as students are learning to build structures from scratch and then test their strengths. With the guidance of their teacher, students are allowed to design, build, and test their hypotheses in a fun and interactive way.
The process begins with the students brainstorming their ideas and sketching out their designs. Once they have a blueprint, they set to work building their structures using various materials. The students take great care in the construction process, ensuring their structures are sturdy and well-supported.
Once the structures are complete, it's time to put them to the test. The students are excited to see how their creations will hold up under pressure, and they eagerly gather around as the testing begins. Using various tools and techniques, Mr. Anderson and his students measure the strength and durability of the structures, recording the results as they go.
Through this hands-on experience, students are not only learning about the principles of structural engineering, but they are also developing valuable problem-solving skills. They are challenged to think critically, work collaboratively, and persevere through setbacks. It's a great way to bring the science curriculum to life, and it's clear that Mr. Anderson's students are having a blast in the process!

"🌎🚀 Today in our science class, Isaac Bostwick and Nate Freeman had a thrilling experience learning about Earth's rotation and revolution! Adena's Agricultural Education course is doing an excellent job of preparing students for future leadership roles in their communities and beyond.
Agricultural Education students have been actively practicing a mock meeting using proper Parliamentary Procedure. It's great to see students taking the initiative to learn and apply these essential skills. Parliamentary Procedure is a set of rules that govern how meetings are run, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to speak and that decisions are made in an orderly and efficient manner.
By practicing Parliamentary Procedure, Adena's students are not only learning how to conduct meetings effectively, but they are also developing essential leadership and communication skills. They are learning how to present their ideas clearly and persuasively, listen actively to others, and work collaboratively to achieve common goals.
Keep up the great work, Adena Ag students!
