Congratulations to Adena students Adrianna McFerren, Joshua Pierce, Chase Trivette, & Curtis Wood for placing in the Ohio Code Scholar's celebration awards for their paint and modeling job. The Ohio Code Scholar's program brings coding initiatives to southern Ohio students to help them build a foundation for technology skills to help them succeed in an everchanging future. Students were presented the award by droid builder Tim O'Sullivan.

Good afternoon, this is Dustin England Adena Middle School principal with a reminder to all students and parents signed up for the Washington DC trip. There will be a mandatory meeting next Wednesday, May 10th at 5:30 in the auditeria. During this meeting we will discuss the finalized travel plans, student information, as well as, student rules and behaviors. After talking with the students they are excited for their opportunity to learn about our Nation's Capital and we are excited to offer this opportunity to them. See you next Wednesday.

Students that bought a lunch from Wednesday, March 22nd to Thursday, March 30th had an opportunity to enter their name into the drawing.
Tomorrow is the start of the Ohio State Tests, grades 5 - 8 students will be testing over the next 5 weeks, in the subject areas of English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. Discuss with your child about what tests they must take. Make sure the night before the test your student goes to bed on time so he or she can be well rested. Be positive and encourage your child to do their best. Please make sure students have charged their Chromebooks. Testing Dates are listed below.

On Friday, March 31, 2023, there is no school for our kindergarten students. This is due to kindergarten registration.
Our 2023-2024 kindergarten registration will be taking place on Thursday, March 30th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Friday, March 31st from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
