Event Notice to parents, neighbors, and passersby... 2024 Prom Promise Activity Commencing at 8:00 AM, Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, your Concord Township Fire Department will host and conduct a prom focused MOCK crash demonstration at the Adena Schools campus on County Road 550. This event will include participation from OSHP Post 71, Ross County SheriQ’s Department, Union Township Fire Department, and Deerfield Township Fire Department, Adena Schools and Integrated Services staQ, Theatre Club, and selected students. We expect to conclude this event by 11:00 AM. As there will be live responses from participating emergency agencies and live radio traQic regarding this event, we are providing this advance notice to make you aware that this activity is only a drill. Communications will be prefaced with, “This is a drill”. If you must be in the area of operations for this event, please avoid the immediate area so we may ensure the safety of all participants. We love our kids, and we want to be proactive in helping ensure they think before acting, and understand the possible consequences. A safe prom experience is the best memory.

Attention all Junior high school students! Join us for Adena's Prom Promise Event—Mock Crash on April 23rd, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. This event aims to reduce student crashes through activity and education. Thank you to our partnerships with the JR Class Prom Advisors, Adena HS Theatre Club and NHS, Concord Volunteer Fire & EMS, Deerfield Volunteer Fire & EMS, and the Ross County Sheriff's Department, Officer Dale Thomas. Our integrated service counselors will also be available to speak with students and provide support. Let's come together to learn about the dangers of distracted driving and make a promise to keep ourselves and our friends safe on prom night!

Announcement! The Lt. Governor's Office is coming to Pickaway Ross for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, May 6th, to unveil a new expansion project. Pickaway-Ross students will be dismissed from the career center early at 1:45 PM to accommodate the ceremony. Any student riding the Adena bus back to the Adena campus will report to the library until the end of the day. Congratulations Pickaway-Ross #ExpansionProject

The Adena HS Wind Ensemble will be performing at State Large Group Contest on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 6:00PM in Gahanna Lincoln High School’s Gymnasium! It has been eight years since the ensemble has qualified to perform at State Contest! The kids have worked hard for this opportunity and would greatly appreciate your support by coming to listen to them perform or by joining in the send-off for them this Friday at 3:15 pm. There will be an EMS escort from Adena Local Schools, through Frankfort and ending at the Shortstop. Supporters can stand along the street by the firehouse on Springfield Street and on the sidewalks down Main Street. Thank you for your support and encouragement for these students as they prepare to perform at State Contest!
