Here is Adena Elementary Newsletter, Issue 15.
The next one will not be released until January 3, 2022. This issue contains our November Students of the Month, PTO holiday dress themes for each day next week, and a reminder that we have an early release this coming Friday, December 17th at 12:45 p.m.
Our winter break begins Monday, December 20th and students will return to school on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Our Adena PTO has several events coming up! Please check out the PTO section of our newsletter, which is attached.
One event our PTO is hosting is "Cookies with Santa", which is Monday, December 6th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the auditorium.

Mr. Colopy’s Anatomy class got to dissect deer hearts today after a week long lesson over the circulatory system. Hearts were donated from students and community members deer harvested during this season.

There will be a 2 hour early dismissal to begin winter break on Friday, Dec. 17th. Elementary dismissal will be 12:45 p.m. High school dismissal will be 12:50 p.m.

This is a reminder that school will not be in session on Friday, November 12th.
Students attending PRCTC are also excused for tomorrow.
School is not in session because our volleyball team is playing in the OHSAA State Semifinals against Independence at 2 p.m. at Wright State University.

STATE BOUND!
Our Lady Warriors defeated Westfall in three sets (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) to claim their first regional championship since 2014!
They will now play Independence on Friday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m. at The Nutter Center on the campus of Wright St. University.
This is the program’s 10th trip to the final four in school history!
Go Warriors!




Ryan Richendollar finished 28th at the OHSAA State Cross Country Meet with a time of 16:37.1!

The excitement continues! Good luck to Ryan and the Lady Warriors Saturday! The Village is behind you all the way!!!


Our Lady Warriors are advancing to the Elite 8!
They defeated Fort Frye in three sets (25-19, 25-14,25-22) to advance to the Division III Regional Championship!
Our Lady Warriors now play Saturday at 2 p.m against Westfall at Logan High School.

Our annual Veterans Day program is scheduled for Wednesday, November 10th at 9 a.m. in the high school gym.
Our FFA will be hosting a breakfast for veterans from 7:45 a.m. until 8:40 a.m. on November 10th. Coffee will be provided by our National Honor Society.
