
Chloe Redden is a senior at Adena High school. She is currently attending classes at PRCTC to gain her MA. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in nursing.




Hunter O' Rourke is a senior at Adena High School. After graduation, Hunter will be going to college to become a power line technician.





Will Rhinesmith is a senior at Adena High School. Will is a four year letterman of the varsity football team and a member of MADE, FFA, and the National Honor Society. After graduation, Will plans to attend Wilmington College to play football and major in agronomy.


Tate Myers is a senior at Adena High School. Tate is currently enlisted in the Air National Guard. After graduation and basic training, he plans to attend college to pursue a career in law enforcement.





Kole Williams is a senior at Adena High School. Kole has enjoyed his senior year playing football, baseball, and working at Frankfort Hardware. He plans to work for ODOT this summer and start his training this fall to be a power lineman.

Caden Bossert is a senior at Adena High School. He is a three-year member of MADE and a member of the championship football team. After graduation, Caden will be pursuing his lifelong dream of working on the Zurmehly farm (5th generation).


Jarrett Garrison is a senior at Adena High School. Jarrett is currently planning on attending Ohio University-Chillicothe for his first year. He plans on majoring in computer science.





Emily Mitchell is a senior at Adena High School. After graduation, Emily plans to attend Ohio University-Chillicothe and major in early childhood education.





Eric Hurtt is a senior at Adena High School. After graduation, Eric plans to attend the University of Findlay and major in animal science/pre-veterinary medicine. Eric will also be a member of their track and field team.




Matthew Bell is a senior at Adena High School and has been attending the Pickaway Ross Career & Technical Center. Upon completion of this school year, Matthew will have completed the Cyber Security and Networking program at PRCTC with several certifications and his job placement within the IT Department at PRCTC.
After graduation, Matthew will be attending Shawnee State University in the fall to major in computer engineering.




Sierra Ward is a senior at Adena High School. After graduation, Sierra will be attending Ohio University to obtain a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work.
Sierra plans to remain in the community to help others.



Preston Sykes is a senior at Adena High School. After graduation, Preston will attend college at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. He will play football and major in exercise science.

A reminder that all current Adena Elementary Kindergarten students will not be in school on Thursday, April 1st, due to next year's Kindergarten Registration Process. Please call the school if you have questions. Thank you.

We want to know what your future plans are! You and your parents can pick up to four pictures and send them to Mr. Jones in an email along with a brief description of what your plans are after high school.
We will highlight each senior that shares something with us on our Adena Local Schools Facebook page beginning on April 1st.
Seniors that share their plans will also be added to the Senior Recognition Board that is located on the Adena High School Academic Wall of Fame.

The Division III State Wrestling meet will take place at Marion Harding High School this weekend.
Garrett Simmons is an alternate for the 138 pound class and could wrestle in the first session that begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Isaac Gray will compete in the 160 pound class and that session begins at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The bracket for his weight class is posted here.
